I heart caribbean beaches

I heart the beach.  I especially heart caribbean beaches that are only 2 hours away from where we live.  I heart the fact that the Lord called us here.  I heart  that while I - in particular - was terrified to move to a third world country away from all of the familiar - that the Lord gave me such peace to be able to make that step of faith - I heart that fear did not keep me from this . . . .

Tate enjoys his fresh pineapple juice at our favorite restaurant, LAX, at one of our favorite beaches on the north coast of the Dominican, Cabarete.

It doesn't take much to make that one happy :)

Happy hour = 2 for 1 chicken wings with magical sauces.  Family members who have accompanied us to this favorite spot know that I have been known to drink the little cups of spicy, jelly-like salsa that comes with this meal.
